One evening I was visiting a friend when on my way out the door, I tripped on an unlit, uneven sidewalk. Luckily, Margaret Walsh was walking out with me because I fell on my face and was bleeding and injured. Margaret took me to hospital, where it was determined that I had broken my nose, needed stitches and would be extremely bruised for several weeks. Margaret administered reiki on me in the emergency room of Kaiser and later that evening. Miraculously I had NO bruises... absolutely unbelievable. I'm a total believer in reiki and Margaret's work.

This was my first Reiki session. I was impressed with how relaxing it was. Then Margaret introduced a “balancing” component. She instructed me to think of a negative belief or pattern in my life that I want to be rid of. I released a lot of left-over emotion from childhood over not having enough money and personal attention. It felt very empowering to me.

My session with Mike was another first. I was delighted at how gracefully he communicated with me as a beginner. I am a little sensitive to loud noises and was afraid that the drumming might be too loud and uncomfortable for me. But it was not too loud at all. I noticed the vibration of it more than the volume of it. And it felt good.

I feel like that first metaphysical journey, combined with the Reiki session, opened up new doors for growth and expansion. The very next day, I received an inspiration for a brand new business concept. I am test marketing the idea now.

I returned a few weeks later for a second double session. Again, it was delightful and very relaxing. More layers of old, stale, left-over emotions are peeling off. New areas of growth are being explored.

I have lost my only daughter with Brain Cancer, the big C, and was in deep mourning - well, I fell asleep and when I woke, I was relieved. I had a message, the first one, in my soul. Originally I went to Margaret for "Recurring Polio Syndrome", I came down with lumbar Polio in the the winter of 1954 when I was 14, although I recovered within 6 months, years later I began to experienced "Recurring Polio Syndrome". With "Recurring Polio Syndrome" symptoms recur every about 12 years. Over the years I've found this to be true. As I approached 70 I began to feel the symptoms again, and I realized they were getting stronger. So I decided to try Reiki treatments with Margaret.The Reiki treatments I received from her was extremely effective. They also helped my Type Two Diabetes.

Recently I received "Reiki Integration Sessions" along with regular Reiki from Margaret. My experiences with the integration sessions was it resolved critical emotional and past life tramua issues and released me into a deeper sense of wholeness. During the session I became aware of the issues and the next day I had a deep and transforming experience of acceptance of myself that was directly related to the integration of this traumatic past life issue.
